Mission Statement:
“One in the Spirit”, our St. Joan of Arc LGBTQ Prayer Group has the Mission to welcome everyone within the LGBTQ Community and their friends & loved ones, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or faith tradition. We are not an advocacy or political action group. In a spirit of mutual trust and respect for the LGBTQ Community and for Church Teaching, what is shared at our meetings is held in confidence. We hope to offer a welcoming experience for everyone to share their faith and strengthen their relationship with our loving God. All are Welcome!
Meeting Information:
We gather in the Arc Room at 7:30pm on the 3rd Thursday of the month as we invite the Holy Spirit to help guide us along our faith journey. We begin each meeting with an Opening Payer followed by a Scripture Reading and a reflection by Fr. Rich. The Scripture is read a 2nd time. Then the Moderator begins the group’s faith sharing on the Scripture and invites everyone who is gathered to share their reflections. We finish with a closing prayer followed by the Our Father.
