Mount Holly Soup Kitchen

Saint Joan of Arc provides regular food assistance to the Mount Holly Soup Kitchen. Volunteers are needed to occasionally make sandwiches or desserts for St. Joan’s weekly donations. Donations are dropped off in Pedata Hall kitchen either Sunday or before 9am Monday morning of the scheduled date.  Another opportunity to assist includes drivers to transport the food on Monday mornings according to the schedule.

Paper Turkey Drive

The theme for this collection, which generally occurs two weekends prior to Thanksgiving, is the purchase of a “paper” turkey. Recommended donation is $15, but any amount in cash or check is accepted. Proceeds from this collection are used to purchase turkeys wholesale to supplement those collected during the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Turkeys are delivered directly to Mount Carmel Guild and depending on their capacity, others are delivered to the Food Bank of South Jersey.
